About Marilyn

I’ve  played with thread, fabric and color for as long as I, or my parents, can remember. There is something hypnotic about the colors and textures of sari fabric, and making lace using crochet and tatting fascinates me. Since I cannot settle on one fiber laden craft, I explore them all. Last summer, I experimented with dying thread lace projects and I’m sure I’ll find a way to create new and interesting accessories with fabric dye pens and a little imagination.

My life is populated with artists and crafters of all types. Once a month, we’ll gather for a quiet Sunday afternoon of sharing and brainstorming fueled with cheese, wine and gourmet crackers. We celebrate the turn of the seasonal wheel with semi-pagan revelry.

As is true with my home, you never know what you’ll find when you stop in to read my blog entries. There will be art and technique discussions peppered with worldly observations and the rare, but interesting, public policy rant, but no matter what you find here, I’ll cling to positive energy.

Please, join me.
